Machining
The machining workshop is outfitted with modern and flexible machining equipment. The equipment has been selected as to meet all production scales (e.g. individual, small-series and mass production). The machining equipment is grouped by type of machining operations:
- Six-spindle automatic lathes line (6 machines)
- CNC lathes line (6 machines)
- Single-spindle automatic lathes line (17 machines)
- CNC milling machines line (4 machines)
- Universal production machines line (65 machines)
- CNC and universal grinding machines line (21 machine)
- Set of universal and special milling and drilling machines (7 machines)
- Line of special machines for springs (6 machines)
Mechanical treatment
Mechanical treatment by deformation is carried out in the Press shop which is outfitted with pneumatic, hydraulic and eccentric presses with the maximum force from 10 to 1250 kN and a drop-hammer stroke from 40 to 630 mm. This shop also comprises blanking, plate bending and spot welding machines, and automatic devise for producing springs with wire diameter up to 2 mm.
Heat treatment
The heat treatment line consists of the following equipment:
- Shaft furnaces line (for heat treatment in nitrogen protective atmosphere)
- Chamber furnaces line
- Shaft furnaces line
- Salt baths line
- Sandblasting, washing and degreasing equipment
- Measuring instruments for metallurgic tests
Surface Protection
The surface treatment shop comprises the following lines:
- Phosphating (iron and steel)
- Chrome-plating (aluminum and Al alloys)
- Chrome-plating (copper and brass)
- Anodic oxidizing (aluminum and Al alloys)
- Cadmium-plating
- Zinc-plating
- Silver-plating
- Tin-coating
- Nickel-plating
- Copper cyaniding
- Hard chrome-plating
- Shellac-varnishing
- Burnishing
Chemical laboratory
Chemical tests laboratory is authorized to issue test certificates (attests) certifying quality of surface protection based on tests conducted in salt and humidity test chambers. The tests station are outfitted with the most modern test equipment for environmental tests of various armaments and defence equipment and other products at all development stages:
- Four-channel oscilloscope - NICOLET
- Vibrator with a random vibrations setting and control device – RANDOM
- Pressure and thrust test bench
- Conditioning chamber
- Jolting test equipment (verifying transport safety according to Russian and US standards)
Precision measurement equipment
Desired quality of products, that is, precision and accuracy are obtained by use of the following precision measurement equipment:
- Three-coordinate measuring machine
- Circularity measurement equipment
- Surface roughness measurement equipment
- Altimeters
- Profile projectors
