Hand Signal Cartridge PSND-30 is used in the Air Force and is intended to signal distress, day and night, crews of airplanes and helicopters that crashed. The cartridge consists of a shell, divided into two chambers that contain the elements day (orange smoke) and night signals (red light).
Cartridge is hermetic with two rubber seals. Firing with pull action fuze on both sides of the cartridge.
